Eastern Boguslaw Migel

Boguslaw Migel was born in 1958 in the Polish town of Slawna. He began carving sculptures at the early age of 12. He has carved over 200 pieces mostly from linden or oak wood. The main theme of his work, like most Polish artists, is influenced from the stories of the Old and New Testament. Some of his most prized works include "The Last Supper", and "The Manger Scene". Some of Boguslaw's other hobbies include painting, and writing his own music. Boguslaw brings a very realistic and spiritual impression to his work. It is hard to believe that his reliefs are really carved out of one piece of wood. His eccentric detail compares to that of Ryszard Prill and Janusz Mostyl.
